2. Consult your insurance agent (the same
one you use for house insurance, etc) and they will probably be happy to
sell you travel insurance as well.
3. US residents can telephone CSA Travel
Protection: 800 348 9505.
We have found their policies to be reasonably
priced and with good coverage. They will ask for the following:
- Total trip cost
- Age of travelers
- Pre-existing medical conditions
- Your zipcode
- Travel dates
- Trip type - tour, cruise, etc
- Airline
- Total cost of your trip

Important:
Please check your passport for the expiration date.
The date of expiration must be at least 6
months AFTER your date of arrival in
Egypt.
Citizens holding passports
from the USA, UK and Canada will be granted a tourist visa for their stay
in Egypt upon arrival at Cairo airport.
Cost is $35 US Dollars or
equivalent in Sterling, in cash. There is also a tip of $5 USD for
the airport representative that will meet you (= $40 USD).
